Apartments
This was the fourth building we developed for the Flats Group. As opposed to the first three, this was the highest one, with an elevator, in order to fully exploit the plot’s real estate potential.
The property had trees towards its eastern border, which we decided to keep for the apartments to enjoy. We placed and closed the building towards the eastern border, giving space to the trees through clearings, while diminishing the frontal size of the building to insert itself peacefully within the neighborhood.
Traditional materials, which are easy to maintain, such as concrete and brick, create a harmonious insertion of an apartment building into a very residential environment.
The bottom floor is left for parking space and four floors hold three apartments per floor, with balconies that open to both the front and back yards.
My balcony is my escape from the routine. I love to sit on the hammock to read or have my morning coffee, staring at the Tajy tree in front. It is where I find peace and recharge energies.
