Vacation House

A couple of grandparents decided, together with their children, to develop a project that would serve as a vacation house, very close to Asuncion. The generously-sized property inspired us to build a lineal house that is totally open to the north, so that every space would have a direct exit and view of the vast garden; something that is very different to life at the city.

The metallic structure, which is open and at plain sight, as well as the finishing materials, such as wood and stone, provide a rustic and relaxed ambience, similar to the one present at a vacation house.

The adopted design is simple; a central volume serves as the gathering space, living room, dining room and quincho. Perpendicular to this, a pure and stone volume concentrates the service areas. Two other volumes placed at each side, house the bedrooms. A pool, perpendicular to this lineal house, serves as counterpoint.

The deck perfectly integrates the comfort of the interior with the nature in the exterior.
